Compact Sewage Treatment Plant is very compact in design and hence easy to install in site. This System is Zero sludge discharge system, so no dewatering of sewage sludge required which saves running cost. This system is suitable for commercial and residential application. The output of CSTP can be used for toilet flushing, gardening, cooling tower makeup etc.
Compact STP is an advanced membrane (MBR) process, which combines biological degradation, membrane ultra-filtration and activated carbon filtration in a single space saving plant. The wastewater passes through a bio-reactor where the air/oxygen powered treatment is carried out. The bio-reactor is composed of fine pore hollow fiber membranes that work by pushing water through their tiny pores by pressure.
Sewage treatment (also known as wastewater treatment, sewage or industrial effluent treatment) is the process of removing contaminants from wastewater and household sewage, both runoff (effluents) and domestic.
